A full day on the train! It went by surprisingly quickly. Watched a movie on my laptop, played some DS games, listened to music and read about Chennai in my guide book in between sleeping lots! Over the last few weeks I've learned some basic Hindi, and now I'm heading for Chennai and they speak Tamil which is very different so I dug out the phrase book and tried to remember some Tamil for when I get there!
The train is quite busy with people walking up and down selling chai, coffee, water and snacks. I had an omelete for breakfast, vegetable biryani for lunch and a vegetarian curry for dinner.
The journey was actually ok so far, apart from at some point I think someone crawled into the toilet and died because there was an absolutely ungodly smell on the train for about an hour - I actually hid under a blanket!
